Austin Outlaws

  • Chasers/keepers:
    • 10 reps (no edits, continuous film) of you catching a pass of increasing velocities and shooting it through a hoop (wall with a taped square can substitute). Have at least three be jump balls.
    • Two reps (no edits, continuous film) of defensive buffer drill:35 yards with partner carrying the quaffle as you buffer their advance with a defensive posture.
    • Two reps (no edits, continuous film) of offensive buffer drill: 35 yards with while you carry the quaffle as a partner buffers your advance with a defensive posture.
  • Keepers:
    • 10 reps (no edits, continuous film) of hoop defense: Stand at either the medium hoop or small hoop, have a partner stand 10-15 yards away and take shots on the opposite hoop with you attempting to block/intercept.
  • Beaters:
    • Five reps (no edits, continuous film) of you running and picking up a bludger and attempting to hit an opponent at a light jog 10-15 yards away. Ball should be thrown with pace.
    • Six reps (no edits, continuous film) of you showing ability to pressure opposition. Place four cones in the four cardinal directions, 10 yards away. Have partner stand at cone in front of you. On go, pressure partner. When partner names one of the other three cones (right, left, back), turn and sprint to that cone and simulate a tap beat.
  • Seekers:
    • Due to the difficult nature of simulating seeking, we encourage those trying out only for seeker to submit as much game film as possible.
  • All players:
    • Submit at least two full games, un-edited with timestamps of when you are on the field (not just when you're playing well, just on the field in general).
