Washington Admirals

  • Chasers/keepers:
    • Five reps (no edits, continuous film) of you throwing a pass to a moving receiver from 10 yards.
    • Five reps (no edits, continuous film) of you throwing a pass to a moving receiver from 15 yards.
    • 10 reps (no edits, continuous film) of you catching a pass of average velocity and shooting it through a hoop (wall with a taped square can substitute).
    • 10 reps of you shooting on guarded hoops from 10-15 yards out.
    • 30 continuous seconds of off-ball man marking. Have a partner set up around the hoops, and then have them make cuts and try to get open. Demonstrate the ability to limit passes to this player. If desired, have a third player occasionally make passes to the player, and demonstrate ability to intercept, knock down or, if received, contain the offender.
  • Keepers:
    • 10 reps (no edits, continuous film) of you defending your hoops from 10-15 yard shots.
  • Beaters:
    • Five reps (no edits, continuous film) of you running and picking up a bludger and attempting to hit an opponent at a light jog 10-15 yards away. Ball should be thrown with pace.
    • Five reps (no edits, continuous film) of you running and picking up a bludger and attempting to hit an opponent at full speed from 10 - 15 yards away. Ball should be thrown with pace.
    • 15 reps (no edits, continuous film) of attempting to catch a mid-range beat from 5-10 yards away.
  • Seekers:
    • Due to the difficult nature of simulating seeking, we encourage those trying out only for seeking to submit as much game film as possible with as many different snitch styles as possible.
  • All players:
    • 2 full, unedited games with timestamps of every time you are on field.
    • A recommendation letter from a coach or captain, and permission to speak to their coach/captain about said player.
