Phoenix Sol

  • Chasers/keepers:
    • 20 reps (no edits, continuous film) of mid-range shooting on a keeper-guarded set of hoops. Chasers should be moving, either forward or side-to-side, and not stationary when shooting. Demonstrate ability to shoot on all three hoops and a wide range of shot types (floaters, bullets, shot fakes etc).
  • Chasers:
    • 30 seconds (no edits, continuous film) of off-ball man marking. Have a partner set up around the hoops, and then have them make cuts and try to get open. Demonstrate the ability to limit passes to this player. If desired, have a third player occasionally make passes to the player and demonstrate ability to intercept, knock down or, if received, contain the offender.
  • Beaters:
    • 15 reps (no edits, continuous film) of you attempting to catch a mid-range beat from 5-10 yards away.
    • Effectively demonstrate skill to re-acquire bludger control or win beater battles by catching thrown bludgers with a partner.
  • Seekers:
    • Five reps (no edits, continuous film) of the following drill: Two seekers against a snitch for 2 minutes or until one catches the snitch.
