MLQ Recruiters will be responsible for recruiting and vetting volunteers across all departments. MLQ Recruiters will report directly to the MLQ Talent Acquisition Director and work closely with the MLQ People Operations Director.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand business goals and objectives and build effective search strategies.
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management (this includes researching and developing target lists of college and club programs, quadball alumni and other relevant groups).
• Review and analyze applications for interview selection.
• Conduct in-depth interviews with potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
• Manage a qualified applicant pool across various disciplines.
• Field any questions regarding volunteering for MLQ and the application process for such.
• Send out offers and onboard new volunteers and staff.
• Ensure recruitment and retention of a diverse and inclusive pool of staff and volunteers.
• Act as a brand ambassador: promote a positive company image to potential candidates.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Recruitment experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to cultivate and build relationships. Must be personable and approachable.
• Ability to exercise judgement.
• Ensures confidential information is maintained.
• Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under varying deadlines.
• You know your way around technology and have a keen sense of sharing information across multiple departments. We use Google Apps and Slack and are constantly sampling new technology.
