The MLQ Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for recruiting and vetting volunteers across all departments. The MLQ Talent Acquisition Manager will report directly to the MLQ People Operations Director.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manager the MLQ recruiter team.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand business goals and objectives and build effective search strategies.
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management (this includes researching and developing target lists of college and club programs, quadball alumni, and other relevant groups).
• Conduct in-depth interviews with potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
• Manage a qualified applicant pool across various disciplines.
• Create and maintain an applicant tracking system.
• Field any questions regarding volunteering for MLQ and the application process for such.
• Send out offers and onboard new volunteers and staff.
• Work with the MLQ Diversity and Inclusion Manager to ensure recruitment and retention of a diverse and inclusive pool of staff and volunteers.
• Actively seek ways to improve the recruiting process.
• Act as a brand ambassador: promote a positive company image to potential candidates.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Recruitment experience a must.
• Strong business acumen and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to cultivate and build relationships. Must be personable and approachable.
• Ability to exercise judgement and creativity.
• Ensures confidential information is maintained.
• Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under varying deadlines.
• You know your way around technology and have a keen sense of sharing information across multiple departments. We use Google Suite and Slack and are constantly sampling new technology.
